Born in Surrey and of Filipino heritage, Kelly graduated from UCCA with a BA in Graphic Design: New Media and worked at the design agency, JKR, as a receptionist while developing an interest in makeup. It was from here that Kelly explored the many aspects of the fashion industry by assisting up-and-coming creative makeup artist to Lan Nguyen. She found her way into the magazine world by starting off as a fashion intern at Conde Nast’s Glamour, Tatler and Brides, and eventually landed herself a job at Hachette Filipacchi as Promotions Assistant; booking photoshoots and overseeing the administration duties for promotions in ELLE, Red and Psychologies magazine. Kelly then decided to finally pursue her true passion; the art of makeup and gradually build a career of her own.

As a makeup artist with an art and design background, what really excites Kelly is using her skills, knowledge and assisting experience to make someone incredibly beautiful. Kelly believes that her client’s look should bring out their personality and always works closely with the creative team to achieve beauty and fashion images of a high standard.

Kelly resides in London, “I love jogging and volleyball, blue-sky thinking, lots of FOOD!!, singing with my 2-year old niece, watching the National Geographic channel, colouring in colour-in books, smiling and head massages”.
